Palm Harbor Florida Real Estate Blog: Lagerheads Grill In Tarpon Springs Florida

Lagerheads Grill In Tarpon Springs Florida

Lagerheads Grill in Tarpon Springs Florida was our destination for lunch today. It was one of those days when you just feel like eatting out and Lagerheads just re-opened and changed their name from Snookers.

 Lagerheads, Tarpon Springs FL

They still have the gator tank out back where you can see live Florida alligators up close and personal but our destination was lunch.

I had the filet mignon and Ron had the roast beef. Both were excellent as was the salad. If you have not tried Lagerheads on Alternate 19 in Tarpon Springs since it re-opened, it is worth a trip.

Two things that I was disappointed that I didn't get to see when I was in Florida a couple years ago was 1. The ocean (even though less than 5 miles from it) 2. A gator (Come on, you got the Florida Gators, I should have been able to find at least one place with them on display)

They have a catchy new name, and the tank full of live ones in back should get the customers in.  That would be worth a stop for sure.  I hope they're not as big as that sucker!

Georgina - no, they are much smaller. You don't see tanks of them like you did years ago. Most just roam wild.........

Todd - where were you? Miami? Orlando? No gators??? Are you sure you were in Florida???????

Donna - it was great!

Barbara- yes, I love these little restaurants!
